Gavin Tran

I was born in and grew up from the land down under – Australia.

I was obese and depressed for most of my life and at 18 decided to turn my life around. I have learnt many valuable lessons about what being well truly is. This ignited my passion for fitness and whole health.

My journey led me to gain further knowledge in university for 5 years in Melbourne, Australia, achieving a Masters degree of Clinical Chiropractic. I had the unique opportunity to volunteer as a chiropractor in remote villages in India. I then went on to practice for 5 years in a rural town of Victoria, Australia, where I developed and further refined my skills.

I prefer to use a combination of techniques depending on specific individual needs, primarily manual adjustments and/or gentle work with Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) and Sports Chiropractic.  I made an exciting life choice to move to the Netherlands in 2019. I wanted to explore more of the world whilst developing my career further and by helping my community through chiropractic. I prefer to take a personal approach in helping each person cope best with their specific stressors in life and to achieve the best possible state of health.

Due to the demanding nature of the work, I enjoy working on my conditioning with regular CrossFit and yoga. To stay grounded I focus inward with daily meditation, mindfulness practices, playing various instruments and spending time in nature.

“The root of all health is in the brain. The trunk of it is in emotion. The branches and leaves are the body. The flower of health blooms when all parts work together.” Kurdish Saying
